Costa is a recognized thought leader with over 25 years of experience in software development, from requirements to delivery and process engineering. His former roles include Developer, Tester, Automation Engineer, QA Director, Product Manager, and CTO. He has been responsible for systems of over 100 million users, in verticals such as Telecommunications, Financial Services, Wireless, Transportation, DSD, Digital Imaging, Media & Entertainment, and Retail. A visionary innovator, Costa has devoted much of his career to mobility, culminating with a breakthrough invention, a patented mobile technology.  Costa is a frequent speaker and is writing a book due to be published soon, titled “Winning Mobile Strategies – Bridging the Quality Gap”.  Costa is currently CEO of Avracom and formerly the Mobile Testing Practice Leader for Capgemini. Lee Barnes

Lee Barnes has over 20 years of experience in the Software Quality Assurance and Testing field. He has successfully implemented test automation and performance testing solutions in hundreds of environments across a wide array of industries. He is a recognized thought leader in his field and speaks regularly on related topics. As Founder and CTO of Utopia Solutions, Lee is responsible for the firm's delivery of software quality solutions which include process improvement, performance management, and test automation.  He has spoken at numerous QUEST conferences as well as StarEast and SPIN.

Richard Bechtold, Ph.D.

Dr. Richard Bechtold has over 30 years of software full lifecycle experience. During this time he has held a variety of positions from software engineering, to line, middle, and executive management. In parallel to this work, he has remained actively involved in various training, quality, and process improvement initiatives. Currently, Richard is the President of Abridge Technology, a Virginia-based company he founded in 1996. Abridge Technology provides consulting, training, support services, and appraisals in the areas of project and process improvement, and organizational change. His expertise spans organizations of all types and sizes. Abridge Technology is an SEI/CMU Partner, and Richard is a Certified Appraiser and Instructor for various CMMI models.

Jeremy Berriault

Jeremy Berriault’s career in QA has spanned over 20 years across multiple industries that include Banking, Insurance and Medical. He is currently the Director of Quality Assurance for Pulse systems, an Electronic Medical Records software organization. Jeremy holds an MBA where he completed a research project on the attitudes and views Business and Testing groups have for each other. His research provided reasoning as to why each group would think the way they do and provided solutions that can help improve knowledge management between them which would in turn strengthen relationships. Jeremy’s main drive is to bring more attention to the value QA groups can bring to an organization, not just providing assurance of quality software, but also financial and efficiency benefits across the enterprise.

Jennifer Bonine

A VP of global delivery and solutions for tap|QA, Inc., Jennifer Bonine began her career in consulting, implementing large ERP solutions. Jennifer has held executive level positions leading development, quality assurance and testing, organizational development, and process improvement teams for Fortune 500 companies in several domains. In an engagement for one of the world’s largest technology companies, Jennifer served as a strategy executive and in corporate marketing for the C-Suite. In her career, she has had several opportunities to build global teams from the ground up and has been fortunate to see how many of the world’s top companies operate from the C-Suite viewpoint.

James Boritz, Ph.D.

Dr. James Boritz is responsible for PQA / SQA for IBM Watson Health Imaging. Jim's specialties include: Software Engineering, Software process improvement, software process reengineering, CMM, ISO 9000, Human computer interaction, 3D computer graphics, and virtual reality. Dr. Boritz has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia.

Shaun Bradshaw

Shaun Bradshaw is a co-founder and principal of Zenergy Technologies, a software quality and test automation solutions firm with multiple industry experts under one roof and a large testing facility in North Carolina. With over eighteen years in the IT industry, Shaun is a recognized expert and thought leader in QA and test process improvement, test management, and metrics. Shaun has architected the test strategy and managed large teams of testers for numerous projects including a two-year, $70 million ERP implementation that went into production with no major issues. Diane Brescher, CPLP

Dr. Diane Brescher is President of GEM Leaders, a company whose vision is to Generate Exceptional Leaders. With over 27 years’ experience in the adult learning and organizational learning, her passion is to work with leaders by successfully addressing their workplace dilemma and global challenges. Susan Brockley

Susan Brockley has over 27 years of software engineering experience with ExxonMobil working in the areas of quality assurance, testing, requirements, and project management. She is currently a Business Analyst in the IT Center of Expertise. Her background also includes security and controls and requirements management. She has held the Quality Assurance Institute CSQA designation since 2002 along with a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Texas. Susan is a guest lecturer at the University of Texas for a course on Measures and Metrics and has spoken at Quality Assurance Institute Conferences in Chicago (Usability – What you Need to Know to Begin Testing NOW) and Toronto (A View from the Back Seat – Past, Present, and Future Thoughts on Test Management).

Chris Burgoyne

Chris Burgoyne is the Quality and Delivery Manager at Vision Point Systems. He's been involved in software testing for more than ten years and has learned that software is about much more than code. He has supported software teams as a business analyst, software tester, test automator, scrum master, and project manager.

Tom Cagley

Tom Cagley is Principal and CEO of Tom Cagley & Associates. Mr. Cagley has over 20 years-experience in the software industry. He has held technical and managerial positions in different industries as a leader in software methods and metrics, quality assurance and systems analysis. Mr. Cagley is a frequent speaker at metrics, quality and project management conferences. His areas of expertise encompass management experience in methods and metrics, quality integration, quality assurance and Agile and lean frameworks to achieve process improvements. Clareice Chaney

Clareice Chaney has over 30 years’ experience in Commercial and Government Contracting with an emphasis in information technology contracting and specific expertise in performance-based contracting techniques. She holds Masters Degree PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) through the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). She has presented at the National Contract Management Association World Congress and provided collaborations on presentations on agile testing and contracting at the QAI North America QUEST Conference.

Clyneice Chaney

Clyneice Chaney brings over 30 years of testing, quality assurance, and process improvement experience. Clyneice holds certifications from the American Society for Quality as a Certified Quality Manager/ Organizational Excellence and Project Management Institute’s Professional Project Manager. She has participated as an examiner for Baldrige state quality awards for Georgia and Virginia. She is currently an instructor for a International Testing Certification organization and has presented technical papers at the Software Engineering Institute: SEPG Conference, American Society for Quality: Quality Manager’s conference, Quality Assurance Institute International Testing Conference, International Conference on Software Process Improvement and Software Test and Performance Testing Conferences.

Joe Courtney

Bob Crews

Bob Crews, President of Checkpoint Technologies, is a consultant and trainer with over 26 years of IT experience including full life-cycle development involving development, requirements management, and software testing. He has consulted and trained for over 240 different organizations in areas such as addressing mobile testing challenges, effectively using automated testing solutions, test planning, risk analysis, implementing automated frameworks, and developing practices which ensure the maximum return-on-investment with automated solutions. Bill Curtis

Dr. Bill Curtis is Executive Director of the Consortium for IT Software Quality (CISQ), chartered to produce international standards for automating the measurement of structural quality from source code. He co-edits several ISO 25000 series software quality standards. He is also SVP and Chief Scientist at CAST, where he heads CAST Research Labs in applying visualization and machine learning to structural quality analysis. He is best known for leading development of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and People CMM at the Software Engineering Institute. He has 40 years’ experience in software and is a Fellow of the IEEE for his contributions to software process improvement and measurement.

Jeff Dalton

Jeff Dalton is an author and leadership coach that is Chief Evangelist at AgileCxO.org, a Research and Development organization that studies agile leadership at self-organizing companies. He is author of “The Guide to Scrum and CMMI: Improving Agile Performance with CMMI,” where he advocates a disciplined and robust model for succeeding with scalable agility. He is also author of the Agile Performance Holarchy, a model for scaling self-organization across the enterprise. In his spare time, he builds experimental aircraft and plays bass in a jazz band.

David Dang

David Dang, VP of Automated Solutions for Zenergy Technologies, has been a leading figure in the test automation industry for over eighteen years. David spearheads test automation for Zenergy by developing advanced frameworks that emphasize reusability and reduce maintenance efforts. David is an expert in commercial automation tools including UFT and RFT as well as open source toolsets such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework and Jenkins. On the mobile front, David uses advanced concepts to design optimal frameworks using mobile automation toolsets. He is also in high-demand as a presenter at all the major software quality assurance and testing conferences. David works out of the Zenergy headquarters in Greensboro, NC and received his B.S. in Management Information Systems and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Buffalo.

Bill Dickenson

Bill Dickenson is Director of Solution Delivery at CAST. Bill has had global responsibilities over the full range of IT including solution development, solution offerings and leading global teams. He has spent a career working with C-level executives on business case development, services strategy, program and vendor management, business process re-engineering, outsourcing engagements and implementation approaches. Prior to CAST, Bill was an independent consultant with Strategy On The Web and former VP of Application Management Services for IBM, bringing decades of experience in application development, maintenance and integrated operations. Bill has professional experience with multiple industry verticals such as Ciber, IBM, PwC, CSC, DuPont in operations, new business development and executive leadership.

Woody Evans

Woody Evans is an Agile Data Evangelist with significant background in Data Strategy, and broad involvement in enterprise scale solution development, delivery and management in the Finance, Defense, Telco, Media, and Healthcare industries. Woody has held significant roles at AT&T Labs, Oracle, L-3 and at Delphix, and has advised CIOs and leaders across a broad spectrum of Fortune 500 companies. Key engagements in the past include significant applications within the Telco infrastructure, building one of the first Master Data Management solutions, and leading a dozen enterprise data strategy projects for the office of the CIO of the Army. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications and solutions, building high-caliber and engaged teams, serving as a role model for technology leadership, and driving unprecedented efficiencies and effectiveness.

Titus Fortner

Titus Fortner is a core contributor to Selenium project and the maintainer of the Ruby bindings. He spends a significant amount of time writing open source testing software built on top of Selenium. He is the project lead for Watir and is active in supporting these projects on Stack Overflow, message boards and in the Selenium Slack and irc. Titus has implemented automated tests at five different companies and currently works at Sauce Labs as a Solution Architect, working with the community to facilitate testing best practices.

Michael “Fritz” Fritzius

Michael "Fritz" Fritzius is President of Arch DevOps in St. Louis, MO. He creates custom test automation for QA teams, along with empowering testers to excel in the automation space. He has worked in financial, cloud computing, medical and manufacturing spaces, and brings a wealth of knowledge from each, into each client. Fritz's career started in 2006 as an embedded developer, and from there got into testing and automation, and hasn't looked back. Fritz serves clients across the US and is also working on a training course for manual testers to break into test automation.

Justin Harrison

Justin Harrison is a senior software engineer at Vision Point Systems, a consulting company specializing in unique software development projects, from mobile to Enterprise. He leads the performance testing practice at VPS and has extensive experience in the area. He supports projects for some of the largest agencies in the Federal government as well as commercial customers.

Paul Herzog

Paul Herzog is the Delivery Manager for the Testing Practice team at SPR Consulting. He has over 20 years of experience in software quality assurance, systems engineering, and Agile planning as a Scrum Master. His engineering career has taken him through projects in a wide variety of industries, from telecom to dental scanners to slot machines. He is passionate about helping SPR’s clients adopt intelligent methods for Agile testing, automation, and test tool implementation. Paul holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering, and lives in Lake Zurich, Illinois, with his wife and three children.

Anne Hungate

Anne Hungate is the President of Daring Systems, a consulting firm dedicated to helping people and organizations navigate digital transformation. Prior to founding Daring, Anne led the global quality organization for a large financial services firm where she guided her team through the adoption of Agile methods, enhanced automation, and increased collaboration. These improvements led to nearly a 50% reduction in operating expense in less than a year, and over $2.5MM in automation-driven efficiency. Joe Jarzombek

Joe Jarzombek is Global Manager for Software Supply Chain Management for the Synopsys Software Integrity Group. At Synopsis he leads efforts to enhance the Software Integrity Platform to mitigate software supply chain risk via automated analysis and testing technologies. This enables the detection, reporting, and remediation of defects and security weaknesses and vulnerabilities throughout the lifecycle. Prior to joining Synopsys, he served as the Director for Software & Supply Chain Assurance in the US Department of Homeland Security Office of Cybersecurity and Communications. He is a retired Lt Colonel in the US Air Force. He is a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).

Nancy Kastl

Nancy Kastl is an accomplished professional with over twenty-five years of experience as a consultant, director, facilitator, and instructor in software quality and testing. As an entrepreneur and consultant, she brings her expertise to management teams in strategic planning, measurement, quality management, software testing, process re-engineering, program management offices, and project management. As the director of SPR’s testing practice, she provides leadership for the On-shore Testing Studio in Chicago with a mission to retool and provide jobs for unemployed Americans, veterans and individuals with disabilities. Nancy is a former VP of Quality Assurance at Harris Bank and is the founder and President of the Chicago Quality Assurance Association. Nancy is a frequent conference speaker and is currently the QUEST conference chairperson. She has served on the Purdue University’s IT Advisory Committee and the QAI Global Institute’s Certification Board.

Mike Kaufman

Mike Kaufman is an Agile Coach and Trainer, full of passion for coaching people and teams. He fully believes in the agile principles and strives to incorporate them into everyday living. Mike believes agile is a better way to work and live and supports teams in adopting and improving these values and principles. Mike started out in software development, problem solving and thinking of new, innovative ways to make users' lives easier. He wanted a challenge so he switched to QA and became a manager all at the same time. Mike led a team of software testers and was the primary QA manager in charge of at least 3 large releases. During this time, he introduced agile to the organization in a small pilot project. It was successful with 3 versions of a new product shipped using agile practices. Mike learned a lot during that initial exposure. Rohit Khare

Rohit Khare is an Automation Expert with IBM, currently responsible for providing complex automation solutions to a large client. Rohit has over 10+ years of experience in automation testing including design, build and implementation of automation solutions across multiple programs and projects. Rohit has experience across domains including Insurance, Banking, Aerospace, Telecom, Travel and Customs-Excise Domain. Rohit also has extensive hands on experience in multiple automation tools like, UFT, RIT, RFT in addition to Selenium and Java technologies. Recently Rohit has been instrumental in integrating successful process integration into automation lifecycle of the client, thereby standardizing automation output with best practices.

Eran Kinsbruner

Eran Kinsbruner is the mobile quality evangelist at Perfecto Mobile, one of the leading cloud-based mobile application testing and automation companies. Formerly CTO for mobile testing at Texas Instruments and project manager at Matrix, Eran has been in testing since 1999 with experience that includes managing teams at Qulicke & Soffa, Sun Microsystems, General Electric, and NeuStar. The co-inventor of a test exclusion automated mechanism for mobile J2ME testing at Sun Microsystems, Eran has extensive experience in the mobile testing world. Karmen Knezevic

Karmen Knezevic has over 15 years of IT experience with a strong emphasis on Quality Management and Continuous Improvements. Karmen currently works as a Team Lead at Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) where she leads a QA team and all QA activities from conception through delivery and maintenance. Prior to joining the public sector, Karmen worked in the private sector assisting in the delivery of software in aviation and grants domains. Her international experience consists of work in the United Nations headquarter in Vienna, Austria, as a Software Quality Analyst and in 2006 for Aloha Airline in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, as an On-Site Software Support Specialist. Out of curiosity, she also worked as a Freelance Mobile Apps Tester for multiple Fortune 500 companies through crowdsourced gigs. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada, Karmen holds a Masters Certification in Business Analysis from Sprott School of Business and PRINCE2 and COBIT5 certifications. Craig Laufer

Craig has over 25 years of IT experience, both in a corporate setting and as a consultant. In addition, he has worked as both a developer and as a tester. This wide range of experience gives him unique insights into the challenges facing IT personnel. He has been leading a test data management effort at a Fortune 500 company for over ten years. He has spoken at multiple conferences about the importance of privacy in test data. He is a strong advocate for test data governance, which has unique considerations above and beyond traditional data governance. But he is more than an idea man. He has developed unique tools, as well as proposed data architectures with far reaching implications.

Brian Mathews

Brian Mathews is a Software Engineer in Test. He has focused his career in QA automation for the last ten years using Selenium Library building test suites. In those years, Brian has built a application for executing and reporting performance of automated tests using a DSL. He has experience in regression and acceptance testing. Currently, Brian is working with Robot Framework to build regression and data driven tests at Conde Nast Co/Lab. He has a B.F.A in Design Communication from Texas Tech University and lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and son.

Moshe Milman

Moshe is the Co-Founder of Applitools – a cloud service for automated Visual Testing. As part of his role at Applitools, he helps dozens of companies across the industry implement state of the art test automation suites. Moshe is passionate about Software Testing and frequently give talks about it in various conferences around the globe. Before starting Applitools, he served at various VP roles overseeing product, QA and professional services. Lawrence Nuanez

Lawrence Nuanez is a performance engineer and automation architect with over 20 years of experience architecting and executing load and performance tests for some of the largest companies in the world. He has also been building automation frameworks for companies across several verticals for decades. He is currently the Director of Professional Services for Total Performance Consulting. Gerie Owen

Gerie Owen is Vice President, Knowledge and Innovation-US at QualiTest Group, Inc. She is a Certified Scrum Master, Conference Presenter and Author on technology and testing topics. She enjoys mentoring new QA Leads and brings a cohesive team approach to testing. Gerie is the author of many articles on technology and is currently developing a curriculum for DevOps training. Misty Pearson

Misty Pearson is the Head of Quality Assurance within the Innovation Hub (The Grove) at Elavon. She is responsible for strategy, process, resource management and career growth and development for over 25 globally positioned Manual, Automation and Performance Engineers. She has worked in Quality Assurance for over 12 years and has worked in various other disciplines such as Development, Product Management and Project Management. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is also Scrum Master Certified and is SAFe Agile trained, working in Agile for 12 plus years. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Gary Pedretti has over twenty years of experience in technology. Rajeev Rai

Rajeev Rai, CEO of QASource, has more than 20 years of experience in software testing QA and is widely recognized as an expert in building, managing and retaining high-performing engineering teams, due to his philosophy of “leading by design.” A serial entrepreneur, he has served as interim CEO for Motzie Inc., and founded several companies including QASource, which he began in 2002. Ramapriya Raju

Ramapriya is a Test Transformation Leader with rich experience in leading, managing and delivering large and complex client programs. Randy Rice is a thought leading author, speaker and consultant in the field of software testing and software quality. He is an advisor to CEOs, CIOs and CFOs in organizations worldwide to improve the quality of their information systems and optimize their testing processes. Randy has over 38 years-experience building and testing mission-critical projects in a wide variety of environments. He is experienced with project management, software development life cycles, IEEE software engineering standards, and cybersecurity testing. Randy served as chair of the Quality Assurance Institute’s International Software Testing Conference from 1995 – 2000 and was a founding member of the Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification program. Frank is an experienced Agile coach, scrum master, leader, and project manager in both the Public and Private sectors with a solid background in IT application architecture and development. Jason Schreuder

Jason Schreuder attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY before obtaining a commission as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. He then served seven years in variety of leadership and agile project management roles in parachute infantry units and deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. During the latter years of his military service, Jason served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at East Carolina University Army ROTC where he also completed his graduate work. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a graduate certificate in marketing analytics from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. He resigned his commission and joined ARCA, a technology company in the cash automations industry. Denis is currently the manager of a Test Automation department.  Previously Denis worked as a QA Engineering Manager at Intel. He also has a deep expertise in software development and a strong technical background especially in Java and Java technologies acquired at Sun Microsystems as a lead developer and projects owner. In his current assignment, he is working on the challenges of enterprise product testing through automation based on data and keyword driven testing approaches. Nikkolas Shramek

Nikkolas Shramek has been a QA Automation Engineer with the Principal Financial Group for 5 years, spreading his passion for all things automation. Nikkolas is part of a Community of Excellence (COE) team of automation engineers, disseminating automation knowledge throughout all of business units in the organization. Nikkolas is a firm believer that all QA's can code and works with many teams to get their automation, agile process and Continuous Delivery pipelines up and running. Elizabeth Wisdom has over 30 years of experience in software development and delivery. Her projects have covered several industries including telecom, retail, financial, manufacturing, and insurance. During this time, Elizabeth has held a variety of roles from software tools and build engineering to developer and project manager. Since 1997, Elizabeth has managed QA teams, both onshore and offshore.
