Do You Know the Value of Your Software Testing?

We are currently spending an unprecedented amount of money on testing.   The World Quality report 2015-2016 indicates a significant rise in the amount of the IT budget allocated to testing.   With this rise in spending, there is increased scrutiny on, and discussion about, “getting the most” out of testing.  Testing is the part of the software development process that is oriented toward preventing problems from reaching a customer.  However, quick to market demands can compromise the testing effort.  Ensuring that testing’s value is recognized and appropriate resources are allocated to it becomes a necessary strategy for test and quality management.  This presentation explores the concept of  software testing value and looks at how testing managers can identify, evaluate, assess and then promote the value they bring to the software development process. If you don’t sell your value to management, nobody else will.  Join Clyneice and make your value understood throughout your organization.
